Learning to move on

Hello, everyone! I wanted to talk a bit about life today. Something maybe a little uncomfortable to most of us, but something we all have to deal with once or twice, though I sure hope you don't!

I am talking about those moments when fear, or guilt, or just that pesky wish to turn back time, unsay a word, undo an action, slip inside our minds and grab onto us, not wanting to ever let go!

Believe me when I say, I've had my fair share of these, my fair share of watching in the void as my life was crumbling around me and I could do nothing but watch it unravel piece by piece, when I gave into despair, thinking there was nothing I can do.

And the truth is, there isn't. Not in the sense of a cosmic fix to all our problems, there's no undo button in real life, unfortunately. But there is still something important, something that even in our darkest hour still exists: a glimmer of hope.

You cannot undo the past, but you can make damn sure the future is better! And I know you will!

And I would like to dedicate this message to a friend of mine, who's been through a rough time, and could really use a pick-me-up! Hang in there! When you stare into the abyss, find the power to make it blink!
